Manager, Human Resources DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Manager Human Resources, located in Raynham, MA.

DePuy Orthopaedics is the Joint Reconstruction business offering orthopaedic devices, solutions and supplies for hip, knee and extremity reconstruction, in addition to cement and operating room products.
The position reports to the Director of Human Resources, DePuy Global Manufacturing. As a member of the site leadership team, The Manager Human Resources (HR) will support the achievement of goals and business objectives of the Raynham site, develop and deploy HR strategies, identify HR solutions to drive business results, ensure the recruitment and hiring of highly qualified exempt and non-exempt personnel. Recruitment will be done in partnership with Global Recruiting and designated staffing agency for contract associates.
The Manager HR will provide leadership to effectively manage change, and partner with senior leadership in communication initiatives, ensure that decisions and actions related to employment and employee relations are made with full consideration of the Johnson & Johnson Credo and applicable equal opportunity and affirmative action policies and laws. In partnership with Total Rewards, administer effectively and communicate all matters related to employee compensation and benefits within the guidelines set forth by DePuy and Johnson & Johnson, manage high risk employee relation issues to mitigate legal risk, develop employee engagement activities and programs to maximize employee morale, provide leadership, resources and effective planning to meet the challenges of diversity management and the ongoing initiatives required to move the process forward. He/she acts in partnership with site leaders as a liaison with J&J shared services for safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, worker's compensation, health/wellness, employee assistance, benefits and payroll to ensure associate & business needs are met and compliant, develop a talent strategy to grow talent, foster the long-term development of employees, and create a development culture, maintain an active role in community activities and promote community involvement among associates, provide appropriate support and direction for special projects as directed by line leadership, corporate human resources, or the needs of the Raynham plant, follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within the work area. Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Manager, Human Resources
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree required, Masters Degree preferred. Minimum 8 years of broad Human Resources Generalist experience (including talent management, talent assessment, compensation, organizational design, change management, training and development, diversity awareness, employee relations and employment law) is required. Previous experience supporting a manufacturing, operations, distribution or plant environment preferred. Must be able to lead and motivate others to achieve objectives. The ability to provide leadership, strategic insight, and future focus are required. Must be results driven and possess strong interpersonal skills. Change leadership, group facilitation and budget management skills are required. Strong business process and customer focus skills including: giving and receiving feedback, active listening, conflict resolution, negotiation, group facilitation, delegation, coaching, influencing and visioning are required. Demonstrated critical thinking, initiative, ability to deal with ambiguity, complex problem-solving and project management skills are required. Strong analytical skills, process orientation and business savvy are required. Experience implementing talent management processes and programs including talent assessment, talent development, performance management and succession planning are required. Must be results oriented with strong track record of success in delivering on objectives in a highly ethical and professional manner consistent with the J&J Credo. Knowledge of legal requirements and regulatory compliance in the Human Resources profession is required. Ability to work independently without close supervision is required. Ability to support a matrixed environment with multiple operating companies is preferred. Experience supporting large client groups is required. Approximately 10% travel (including visits to San Jose, CA and Miramar, Fl) is required. The position is located in Raynham, MA.
